Preparation for Your Chiropractic Telehealth Consultation

To make the most of the time we have and make the consultation as beneficial for you as possible there are a few things that we ask you to do:

It is ideal that we can see you. Do you have an internet connection and access to a video chat feature?

Please let us know if you have access to a computer with a camera or other suitable device and want you a video link to talk to us. Ideally download our preferred Ap Zoom for your video appointment.

IMPORTANT!: You need to be aware of the possible issues concerning Online Video Consultations and we need you need to agree by returning our Telehealth Consent Form. If you have any questions about it please get in touch. When you are happy please sign and return a copy to us giving your consent before your consultation.

Preparing Yourself For A Good Telehealth Consultation

• Before the meeting we’ll email you a link. Please ensure that you have tried the Ap before the start time. It would be good to let me know if you have any problems with this in advance of the session.

• For a Video Consultation please make sure you have privacy, in a quiet room where you will not be disturbed, with plenty of space to move around and good lighting so that you can be seen more easily. Please wear comfortable clothing, appropriate for exercise, and be prepared to possibly undress further if needed. Gym clothing is most ideal.

• Your practitioner may ask you to perform certain movements to aid in diagnosing or advising you. Please find a place where you can prop up your device to allow you the freedom to move in a clear view of the camera. We may also ask to look at you lying down or sitting. Often using a suitable lap top is better as you can angle the screen.

• If we encounter technology glitches please don’t worry we will do our best to ensure we complete the consultation.

• For more about what to expect from and during your Telehealth Consultation please follow the link.

If you don’t have access to videochat, don’t worry we’ll do our best over the phone.

Your practitioner will call you at the start of the schedule time, and the call must end promptly on time as well, to enable us to call other people who are scheduled. If there are any substantial delays we will contact you.

If you cannot make the scheduled call, please get in touch and we can try to reschedule the call to a more suitable time.

In the meantime, try and keep moving and carry on with any advice we have given you as best as you can.

Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to send them to us so that we are ready in advance of your consultation call.
