We’re generally very busy, largely through word of mouth recommendation. The clinic is family run and aims to maintain a friendly, genuine, community of practitioners, delivering a great service.

The clinic emphasises a collaborative sharing of skills, knowledge and experience allowing practitioners to contribute and develop, to maximise patient outcomes and avoid common pitfalls not often discussed in physical therapy training. We aim to provide you with an environment in which you’re free to direct your own life, which inspires you improve your skills and remain impassioned about the potential of the techniques you use.

Our principle chiropractor Louis has been developing and testing functional and structural optimisation in practise since graduating in 1996.

The clinic opened in 2002 and is well established with a database of 12,000+ clients. New practitioners will be actively marketed and previous candidates have rapidly built up their practises.

Hours are flexible within normal clinic working hours – though we find many clients prefer evening appointments. We are suggesting that you start the role initially part time probably 2-3 sessions. Even though we will actively market you, someone new starting can affect the clients available to other staff members so we liker to moderate this impact initially. As you get busier then of course we would be delighted for you to increase your hours.

The post is self-employed. The service charge is percentage based.

The Clinic
The clinic has 7 large treatment rooms, 3 of which are dedicated for use by various therapists. The clinic currently has 3 chiropractors, 4 therapists who do combinations of massage, sports rehabilitation and CranioSacral Therapy. We also currently have therapists who offer the Alexander Technique, acupuncture, hypnotherapy and other techniques.

The clinic is in the leafy suburb of Penwortham, 1 mile out of Preston town centre. Preston is situated in central Lancashire with good transport links across the country and access to airports. It is an excellent place to enjoy the outdoors, though is under an hour into central Manchester and Liverpool. While it has many local attractions, places such as the Lake District, Peak District, North Wales, North Yorkshire are an hours drive or so. Frequent fast trains means that the journey to London Euston is only a couple of hours.
There are many excellent schools in the area. It has it’s own university, is the county administrative centre and has significant percentage of the population working in high tech industries, such as aeronautical. The therapists  are supported by a great team of reception and admin staff who often get positive comments in the patient testimonials.
