Savannah's joining Back-in-Action to work with us as a Massage and Sports Injury Therapist. Savannah helps all kinds of muscle aches and pains, tension and helps improve how you function. She graduated from UCLAN with a 1st class honours degree.
Savnnah's Injury Experience
Savannah's passion for sports therapy began at a young age. She competed in women’s artistic gymnastics all over the country for 10 years. During that time Savannah suffered from several injuries that required rehabilitation. The expertise and support from rehabilitation specialists allowed her to continue competing in the sport that she loved. This sparked her interest in understanding how rehabilitation works and inspired her to pursue a career where she could help others recover, in order to perform at their best.
Educational Training
Savannah moved to Preston in 2021, to study at the University of Central Lancashire, where she graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in Sports Therapy and a Level 4 VTCT in Sports Massage.
Profesional Experience
During her studies, Savannah gained hundreds of hours of valuable hands-on experience working with a variety of sports teams including St Helens Men’s Rugby first team, Tranmere Rovers FC, Burnley FC Men’s first team, Fleetwood town FC women’s team, first aid at Grasshoppers Rugby and working within a university massage clinic. These opportunities allowed her to develop a wide range of skills including deep tissue massage, manual therapy, injury rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and taping.
Today, Savannah's goal is to help you achieve your own physical goals. Whether that’s returning to the sport you love, maintaining fitness, recover froman injury, or simply reduce your pain and tension.
Savannah is passionate about supporting you on your journey to feeling the best version of yourself.
