Parking

Please allow extra time when visiting the clinic due to restricted parking on Cop Lane caused by a construction site next door and parking being taken by the builders. The external work on the project is expected to be completed by December 2018.

We have arranged with the builders for them not to park in front of the clinic but if these parking places are taken please either park further down Cop Lane or on a side road nearby.

Patients in severe pain or those who cannot walk far may park on the driveway.

balance

Improving balance and coordination

Balance and co-ordination are an often overlooked part of fitness and should be trained as much as strength and endurance..

smoking

Smoking and lower back pain

Smoking can have a range of negative effects on the body, but it is the interruption of the body’s transport system and the supply of fresh blood and nutrients to certain areas that can ultimately cause pains in the lower back region.

If you do smoke, it’s important to be aware of the risks you may be putting your body through; it’s not just the lungs that suffer when you inhale cigarette smoke, but the general health of the whole body.
