Hi ,
Just to say that we are continuing to run with our full PPE and hygiene protocols for the time being.
The whys behind this is are:
- We are a close contact service and we want to continue to make Back-in-Action a safe environment for all our nervous and vulnerable clients and staff.
- Maintaining our high Hygiene and PPE standards helps guard the clinic from being closed by Track and Trace if we do have someone in who is found to have COVID.
- There is likely to be a surge in cases as 'Lockdown Measures' cease - so this will help to reduce spread for those who are at the clinic - enabling us to be more likely to keep providing services and slow community transmission.
- Wearing a mask in in-door spaces helps protect others from you, rather protecting you from others. For mask wearing to be fully effective everyone needs to wear them.
The plan is to review things again before the next changes in middle of August.

What To Do When You Come In For Treatment

Temperature Checks
Even though temperature checks in themselves are not all that reliable, with the increased incidence in the community, it now seems sensible for us to start doing temperature checks as we are likely to be able to screen out more people who are contagious.

Air Purifiers
During COVID When possible we've been keeping the windows open to make sure the rooms are well ventilated and have plenty of fresh air. On cooler days this won’t be as comfortable or as economical so we have bought some air purifiers for the treatment rooms and reception areas to use.
