Hot Stones Massage
Did you know you can have hot stone therapy during your massage appointment at no extra cost? (Hot Stones available with Gita, Yvonne and Becky) Please ask for 'hot stones' when booking your appointment due to the preparation required.
The smooth basalt stones are specially selected to hold their heat. The heat from the stones can help relax the muscles and improve blood flow to the area which can help release muscle tension. They are used during the massage to help soothe and penetrate areas of deeper tension/ congestion. The pressure level is selected to be comfortable for the client. The massage gets deeper much quicker and the benefits seem to last much longer than conventional massage. Most people find it a pleasant and relaxing experience!

Improving balance and coordination
Balance and co-ordination are an often overlooked part of fitness and should be trained as much as strength and endurance. There are many factors that may hamper your balance and coordination. The alignment of your neck, your spine, and your pelvis is one. When your pelvis is misaligned, your body needs to compensate and your neck or back may shift to one side so you can keep your balance, but this in turn causes you stiffness and neck pain.
