We Are Delighted To Introduce Luca Hancock
Hi, my name is Luca Hancock, I graduated from UCLan with a BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy, during this time I gained hundreds of hours experience working in a variety of environments. I spent 9 months massaging elite athletes (Bolton Wanderers) and much of the 24/25 season. I also gained a huge variety of experience working with a wide range of clients at the Universoty Clinic. I was also lead Sports Therapist at Euxton Villa which thoroughly developed my soft tissue and massage skills.I now work at the Preston North End FC Sports Academy with the 9-16 year old players. Before working at Back-in-Action I was also working as part of a Rehabilitation Team for people with acquired brain injuries.
I specialise in massage, offering deep tissue (sports) massages or lighter massages dependent on preference of the client, ultimately, both are successful in improving the clients’ symptoms, reducing muscle tightness and improving their ability to complete daily activities without pain. I also work in academy football, assessing injuries, creating and delivering rehab programmes to strengthen muscles, improve movement and reduce future injury risk. My intention as a therapist is to improve a clients symptoms, enabling them to be able to return to their daily life without limitations as soon as possible.
