Oriental Facial Massage Now Available At Back-in-Action Chiropractic Preston

120-indian_head_or_facial_massageAnyone can benefit from Oriental face massage, it is different from other forms of facial massage. Most other forms simply work the surface of the face to relax and refresh the tissue. The aim of oriental face massage is unique in the way it not only helps the skin look refreshed but it also works on Acupressure points, to assist balancing and harmonising the internal organs of the body and helps with what is referred to as “Ki” the life force energy of your body.

Oriental face massage is is a profound combination of the traditional Japanese medical concepts and distinct hand manipulation techniques.

There are a lot of important meridians and tsubo points that start and end in the region of the face and head. By gently stroking and applying gentle pressure to these points it can improve the flow of Ki.

Even though it is only the head, neck, ears and face that is worked on, it is never the less a holistic treatment. That is to say that by working on the various points on the face etc treating it like a map if the body a bit like in reflexology, the person as a whole is treated.

You stay fully clothed for this treatment. It is recommended that you do not wear any makeup as the face is being massaged and oils may also be used from time to time.
