Why Would You Want Hypnotherapy?

If you want more freedom, release your limiting and unwanted habits, thoughts and behaviours, hypnotherapy can help you.

Hypnotherapy helps you through hypnosis. Hypnosis is when your are in a state of heightened awareness, in which it is possible to communicate with the sub conscious mind. It is a very simple and natural occurring state. It is like being very relaxed and you are always in control – despite the impression most people get from stage hypnotism.

The process of hypnotherapy allows your subconscious mind to whole heartedly accept enriching positive suggestions to change your life.

Your imagination is your most powerful tool for healing your mind, body and spirit.

You can change anything when you want it enough. It is all in the mind!

Is Hypnosis Safe?

Hypnosis is similar to experiencing daydreams, you feel relaxed. Remember it is YOU that is in control, NOT the hypnotherapist. Allow it to happen and trust your body to do the rest.

How Does Hypnotherapy Work?

Individuals have two alternative states of mind: one where thoughts are occupied in a conscious way and you are aware of what you are thinking. The other state is an automatic state, where decisions are made affecting beliefs and emotions. By communicating with this subconscious state hypnosis is a way of helping you to make the right decisions and bring about beneficial changes to certain problems which have their origins in the mind.

What Happens During a Hypnotherapy Session?

During a hypnotherapy session, you are guided by the Hypnotherapist into a trance state; a common state which everybody automatically drifts in and out of from time to time e.g. when reading a book, or listening to music or during daydreams. Reality fades into the background and the mind transports you to a world of imagination. You are still conscious, but this is temporarily altered to a feeling of calmness and deep relaxation. Concentration and awareness become heightened. It is then, when the body and conscious mind are relaxed, that the subconscious becomes receptive to positive suggestions and re-programme the mind to bring about beneficial changes.
