Francesco Vanni

BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, MChiro, Doctor of Chiropractic

Preston ChiropractorHi, my name is Francesco Vanni.

I am Italian and I graduated as a chiropractor from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth.

I also received a degree in Physiotherapy from University of Pisa in 2003. As a physiotherapist I had the privilege of working full time for Italian National Ski Team   for 5 years.  I was responsible for the Downhill and Super-G team (4 years with the men and 1 year with the women) and I have participated in 5 World Cup seasons (2003-2008), one World Championship (Bormio 2005) and one Winter Olympic Games (Turin 2006).

Working with the team has been a great and fulfilled experience but after 5 years I came to the conclusion that there was a better way to deal with the human body so I moved to England in 2008 to attain my degree in Chiropractic. I have always been passionate about the human potential and how to fully express it and I found in Chiropractic the missing piece, what I was looking for.

I believe that Chiropractic is one of the best technique that helps the body to heal itself. This is because it helps to remove obstacles and the interferences that do not allow the optimal function of what controls everything: the nervous system. I think that is the key to  everyones potential to either achieve sport satisfaction and/or rid of pain. I am a strong believer in wellness and prevention. This can be achieved by maintaining optimum physical functions, which is needed to best resist external forces, be they physical, chemical, emotional or biological. In other words to keep yourself healthy.

The areas I am specialized in are basic Chiropractic, Proprioceptive medicine, Sacro-Occipital Technique, Gonstead Technique, B.E.S.T. (Bio Energetic Syncronization Technique), Functional rehabilitation, Therapeutic and Sport Massage, Ergonomics and Posturology.

Art is my other passion. I am a musician since I was a child and I have been involved in juggling performances and teaching for years. I also worked part time as comical therapist with !Ridere per vivere! Association for a few Paediatric departments close to where I lived in Italy.

I am glad to have become part of Back-In-Action team and I am looking forward to help you to transform your life for the better.
